Do you accept insurance?
Raphael Psychiatry is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of each appointment. We do provide a superbill (a detailed receipt with the necessary codes) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many patients with PPO plans receive partial reimbursement this way — we recommend calling your insurer ahead of time to understand your out-of-network mental health benefits.
What are your fees?
Please contact us directly for current fee information. Fees vary by appointment type. Initial evaluations are longer and priced accordingly; follow-up visits are shorter. We are happy to discuss fees before you schedule so there are no surprises.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes — Dr. Rosinsky is currently accepting new patients. Because this is a small practice, availability is limited. We encourage you to reach out early if you're considering becoming a patient, as new patient slots can fill up.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your initial evaluation will be 60–75 minutes. Dr. Rosinsky will ask about your current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, family history, medications, and what you're hoping to get out of treatment. You don't need to prepare anything specific — just come ready to have an open conversation. At the end of the appointment, she'll share her impressions and discuss a plan with you.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth is available via secure HIPAA-compliant video for patients anywhere in Massachusetts. You'll receive a link before your appointment. All you need is a quiet, private space and a reliable internet connection. Telehealth and in-person appointments are equally available for both new and returning patients.
Do you provide therapy?
Dr. Rosinsky's practice focuses on psychiatric evaluation and medication management, not ongoing psychotherapy. That said, she takes a warm, collaborative approach and her appointments are never rushed. If you're looking for a therapist, she is happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues.
Can you take over prescribing from my current psychiatrist?
In many cases, yes. Dr. Rosinsky will typically request records from your prior provider and conduct a full evaluation before continuing or adjusting any existing medications. Please mention this when you reach out so we can plan appropriately.
Is my information kept confidential?
Yes. All care at Raphael Psychiatry is fully confidential in accordance with HIPAA and Massachusetts law. Dr. Rosinsky will not share your information without your written consent, except in very limited circumstances required by law (such as imminent safety concerns). You can ask about confidentiality at any time during your care.
What if I'm in crisis?
Raphael Psychiatry is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency or are in immediate danger, please call 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline), call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room. For urgent but non-emergency concerns between appointments, please contact us directly.
