Dr. Carolyn Rosinsky is a board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. She completed medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, adult psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Sheppard Pratt Hospital, and fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children's National Hospital.
She currently practices at Massachusetts General Brigham community clinics in Chelsea and Revere, and is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. In 2026, she received a Pillar of Excellence award for commitment to exceptional patient care at Mass General.
Specializations
Dr. Rosinsky has particular training in trauma-focused and trauma-informed care, as well as working with LGBTQ+ and autistic individuals. She has specialized education in therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and play-based therapy.
What She Treats
Dr. Rosinsky works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and other psychiatric conditions. She focuses on evaluation and medication management, and can coordinate closely with therapists and other providers you may already be working with.
Clinical Experience
In addition to general outpatient clinical settings, Dr. Rosinsky has experience working in inpatient psychiatry across the age span, a specialized trauma center, the VA, school-based settings, and with homeless populations.
