Carolyn Rosinsky, MD
Psychiatrist

A psychiatrist who takes the time to understand you

Dr. Carolyn Rosinsky is a board-certified adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist. She completed medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, adult psychiatry residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Sheppard Pratt Hospital, and fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children's National Hospital.

She currently practices at Massachusetts General Brigham community clinics in Chelsea and Revere, and is an Instructor at Harvard Medical School. In 2026, she received a Pillar of Excellence award for commitment to exceptional patient care at Mass General.

Raphael Psychiatry was founded to offer something increasingly rare in modern medicine: a small, thoughtful, unhurried practice where patients are truly known — not as a chart or a fifteen-minute slot, but as whole people.

Specializations

Dr. Rosinsky has particular training in trauma-focused and trauma-informed care, as well as working with LGBTQ+ and autistic individuals. She has specialized education in therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and play-based therapy.

What She Treats

Dr. Rosinsky works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and other psychiatric conditions. She focuses on evaluation and medication management, and can coordinate closely with therapists and other providers you may already be working with.

Clinical Experience

In addition to general outpatient clinical settings, Dr. Rosinsky has experience working in inpatient psychiatry across the age span, a specialized trauma center, the VA, school-based settings, and with homeless populations.

Hospital Affiliation

Dr. Rosinsky practices at Massachusetts General Brigham community clinics and holds a faculty appointment as Instructor at Harvard Medical School.

A Note on This Practice

Raphael Psychiatry is a self-pay private practice, which allows Dr. Rosinsky to keep her patient panel small and her care focused. Superbills are provided for patients who wish to seek out-of-network reimbursement from their insurance provider.
